Thrown rather than cast, and the horizontal ridges left by the fingers on the wheel are kept rather than smoothed away. Sold as a pair in two heights because they were designed to sit together; the same forms are also made at floor scale for the studio's own use, which is what the second photograph shows.
The matte white glaze marks with a fingerprint and wipes clean with a damp cloth.
