Prices are in euros and include Danish VAT for delivery within the EU. Shipping is added at checkout according to the shipping page. For Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, import duty and local VAT are not included and are collected by the carrier.
Where an object is shown at a reduced price alongside a higher one, the higher price is the price we ourselves charged for that object for at least 30 consecutive days within the six months before the reduction. We do not raise a price in order to show it crossed out.
An order is an offer to buy. The contract is concluded when we email the dispatch confirmation. Before that we may decline an order — for instance if a run has sold out or a price was listed in error — and any payment is refunded in full.
The objects are made in small runs by hand or by hand-operated processes. Each product page states what varies between pieces of the same object. Variation of the kind described there is a property of the object and not a lack of conformity.
Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider. Card details are entered on the provider's systems and never reach us.
Delivery times are estimates in working days, not guarantees. Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost, tell us and we will pursue the carrier and replace or refund the order. Breakage in transit is replaced on receipt of a photograph and does not use the breakage cover.
As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. We extend this voluntarily to 30 days. Returned objects must be unused, as defined on the shipping page, and in their original protective packaging. Return postage is yours unless the object was faulty or not what you ordered. We refund within 14 days of the return arriving, to the original payment method.
You have a statutory right to goods that conform to the contract for two years from delivery under EU and Danish law. Separately and in addition, we offer a 5-year breakage cover on every object: one replacement per object if it breaks in ordinary domestic use, with shipping paid by us. The cover's scope and exclusions are set out on the care page and form part of these terms. The cover does not replace, limit or shorten your statutory rights.
The names, photographs, text and layout of this site belong to Style Musei ApS or to the workshops that supply us. Every object in the edit is the original design of the workshop that makes it. We do not sell reproductions of museum objects or of any other maker's work, we do not offer any object as a version of or alternative to another designer's product, and we do not use any third party's trade mark. If you believe something on this site infringes a right you hold, write to the address above and we will respond within five working days.
We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be excluded under Danish law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Email studio@thestylemusei.com. We acknowledge within two working days and aim to resolve within 14 days. If we cannot agree, you may take a complaint to the Danish Dispute Resolution Institute (Nævnenes Hus) or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Danish law applies and the Danish courts have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live.
