The grey is in the glass itself, added to the melt rather than sprayed on afterwards, so it cannot chip or wear. Because the colour comes from the thickness of the wall, the belly reads darker than the neck, and a thicker piece from the batch will be noticeably darker than a thinner one.
Sold singly in three heights. The photograph shows all three together.
